Released: 03/11/2017 Mark Maxwell continues to make moves in 2017. His recent original release ‘Take My Hand’ was featured on Claptone’s Clapcast 107, as well as seeing support from the who’s who of house DJs in Australia and around the world.
Mark is also keeping busy on the remix front with remixes for Colour Castle - Love Addict (Mark Maxwell Remix) [astrx] #1 ARIA Club Chart, GT & Wildfire – Little Dance (Mark Maxwell Remix) [Be Rich Records] #8 ARIA Club Chart, Modern Citizens - Do It Tonight (Mark Maxwell Remix), Odd Mob x Super Silly - No Pressure (Mark Maxwell Remix) [Tinted Records] #19 ARIA Club Chart. His remix for Groove Armada – I See You Baby saw a video created by influetional youtube channel Street Player w/ 26k views on Youtube.
With ‘Help This Woman’ being the deepest cut from Mark Maxwell’s ‘Take My Hand EP’, it’s not surprising to see it get the shake up from underground house music’s finest, Greco (NYC) and Sondrio.
Off the back of releasing his peak-time anthem, ‘Be’, New York’s Greco has plunged ‘Help This Woman’ well into the early hours of the morning. Cut up break beats, slamming crash cymbals and grinding bass lines show that Greco truly is the master of jackin’ house in 2017.
Sondrio’s version strips the record back to its raw elements. Giving the empowering vocal room to shine with a rock solid back beat, you’ll find it hard not to strut defiantly around the dance floor while this is playing.

Released: 12th May 2017 Mark Maxwell used to put on steel capped boots and hi-vis clothing to go to work each day. Whether it was under a train or on top of a mountain of coal, he only found time to write music in those few hours after work. At the end of 2014, he hung up those boots and committed to a life of music. Mark Maxwell is Australia’s latest addition to the unrelenting house music scene.
Mark was selected for the Red Bull Music Academy in 2014 and whisked off to Tokyo where his eyes were opened to a whole new world of music. He came home feeling empowered, excited, and also pretty nervous about his decision to start releasing music under his own name.
2015 saw Mark release two originals, remixes and play across stages at the Splendour in the Grass and Listen Out music festivals. Powering into 2016, Mark Maxwell began the year with the release of remixes for YesYes Records and Respect Music, a 2 track release here on Double-Up Records - ‘Bringing Me Down/Wade In The Water which was supported by house music legend Todd Terry and Tropical House scene leader Thomas Jack which further helped to continue to shape Mark’s identity and cement his place in the global house music scene.
For the ‘Take My Hand’ E.P Mark flexes his versatility and delivers 3 tracks of house music magic and his own deeper remix or title track “Take My Hand”.

There's been albums, singles, remixes, multiple labels, thousands upon thousands of flights, DJ gigs from Dubai to Detroit, Sydney to Stockholm. Two decades of Jesse Rose's life have been dedicated to his music and the labels.
Alright Mate is Jesse's final solo album. That's it. There's not going to be anything new released after this. It's 12 tracks, featuring some of Play It Down's own (Christian Nielsen, Weiss, Junior Sanchez, Avon Stringer) and some favourites (Eva, Red Eye, Seven Davis Jr). His oldest friend Jamie Anderson mixed it with him and the legend that is Alex Gopher worked on the mastering. It's Jesse as a producer through-and-through, with nodes to all of the variants, humors, history, and good times he's had and respected all these years.
FROM JESSE: ''I feel like this album pretty much represents my whole career as a producer, touching on a lot of influences from the music I grew up on to the producers that made me want to do this in the first place, at times maybe even by my own early tracks. It doesn't represent my DJ sets and was never intended as a promo tool for that. In a way I guess it's a love letter to House music. It's a thank you to the people that inspired me inside & outside of House. I made it just wanting to make something dope, I asked a lot of friends to be involved because without them this album wouldn't be me.
Thanks to everyone for their support of my music, the labels and letting me have a massive LOL for the last two decades. Long may this scene we love continue..."
